Required Settings for Manual Configuration

Use IMAP (not POP3)

Authentication is required for both incoming and outgoing

SPA (Secure Password Authentication) should be disabled

SSL/TLS must be enabled for both ports
Testing Your Setup
After setup:

Send a test email to yourself

Check both inbox and sent folder

Ask a colleague to reply
Troubleshooting
Incoming server errors:

Check that you’re using port 993 with SSL

Confirm server is:
mail.yourdomainnamehere
Outgoing mail won’t send:

Must use port 465 with SSL

Authentication must be enabled

Re-enter your full email and password
