Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open iPhone Settings

Scroll down and tap Mail

Tap Accounts

2. Choose Account Type

Tap Add Mail Account
3. Enter Your Account Info

Name: What recipients will see on your emails

Email: Your full email address

Description: Any name you want (e.g. “Council Email”)

4. Configure Incoming Mail Server

To confirm port numbers and SSL settings:

Tap your account name again

Scroll to Advanced

Go back to the previous screen and tap SMTP to check:

Testing Your Setup

Troubleshooting Common Issues

This can happen if SSL is on but the certificate isn’t issued for your domain — it’s safe to accept in most cases
