Alternatively, if you log into webmail (simply open a browser and in the address bar, enter webmail.yourdomain.com (substitute you domain.com with your actually domain name) as you log in you'll see that you can automatically download a script to set up your email on your chosen email software. So for instance, to add email to an iPad, simply open the Safari browser and log into webmail as above. Once there, you'll see scripts within the Cpanel home section that will allow you to download profiles that will automatically configure your device.
For IMAP account setup, enter the following mailbox and server details:
Username is the full email address
•Incoming mail server mail.yourdomainnamehere (e.g. mail.parishcouncilwebsite.org.uk)
•Incoming mail port: 993
•Encryption method: SSL
•Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): should be unchecked
•Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomainnamehere (e.g. mail.parishcouncilwebsite.org.uk)
•Outgoing mail port: 465
•Encryption method: SSL/TLS should be checked
•Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): should be unchecked
Email address and password should be entered for the outgoing mail server settings (if prompted for this)
